Fortunately, Zephyr Technologies has created a solution that lets you say so long to your tangled web of power cords: the Zephyr Triple Charger. The Triple Charger is an entirely new cable that combines three charging options in one and, equally critically, bucks or boosts voltages to meet the different requirements of multiple devices while guaranteeing accurate power levels to each.
The Triple Charger takes one power output and delivers three charging outputs: (1) a 12V regulated to 5V for USB charging; (2) a 5.4V for laptop computer charging and, (3) power to charge a printer battery. Zephyr combined a 12V 50W power supply and designed the circuit to provide a 5V port via a USB Type A connector. We then provided power to charge the batteries in the terminal and created the charging circuit for charging the battery inside the printer.
Zephyr’s design and electrical engineering teams also factored in heat dissipation within the cable housings as part of their overall system design. We use customer materials in our cables to ensure components on the printed circuit board are not damaged during the manufacturing process.
